While Coronavirus continued to be never far from the headlines, normal service did feel like it was beginning to resume. With vaccines being rolled out, normal events begun to resume…and other stories began hitting the news. And with delayed events such as the Olympics, Paralympics and the Euros, there was plenty to entertain us too.

This year’s quiz takes a new format – we have 8 rounds:

    The 18 year old’s win over 19 year old Leylah Fernandez was also the first all-teen final since 1999 (when Serena Williams beat Martina Hingis), and also made Raducanu the youngest women’s Slam champion since Maria Sharapova at Wimbledon in 2004. She’s also the first woman to win the US Open without dropping a single set since Serena Williams in 2014, although Raducanu had to win 20 sets in a row having had to come through qualifying. Not bad since she only got her A-Level results 2 months before!

    In the first episode of the Sex & the City reboot ‘And Just Like That’, James Preston, more commonly known by his nickname Mr Big – the on-off partner and eventual husband of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw – died after suffering a heart attack during a workout on a Peloton. Peleton responded by bringing him “back to life” on one of their adverts.
